After Disney World I was surprised by a trip to Atlanta for Christmas with my best friend Mimi. I was so excited! My family and I settled there for Christmas. After four days in Atlanta I flew over to Baltimore and stayed at a friends house. One night most of my friends headed over to the house I was staying at for a big get together.

Before the trip I had know idea that I was going to fly to Disney World, Florida. This is how they surprised me, it was two day till we flew out. My parents said “How about you open this as an early Christmas present. The first present was a Disney World ornament. The second was a Mickey Mouse hat that had reindeer antlers that had little lights on them that you could turn on and off. Then they enthusiastically screamed “where going to Disney World and not just any it’s the Florida Disney World!” Then I screamed yay!” Then with a puzzled look on my face I asked “will Mimi be there? Then they replied and said “Know.” I was slightly upset but I did not say it out loud. PS. Mimi is my best friend ever!

When me and my family arrived I noticed that Mimi and here family were relaxing as if they where in a lounge waiting for a tea party. As sone as we noticed each other we ran to each other gave a big hug and an enormous smile appeared on both of our faces. Then ran of to play.

The first part of Disney we went to was Animal Kingdom. While we were walk in we saw that there was a Lion King show/festival. It was super cool! One person had a stick that was lit with fire on both two sides of the stick and balanced it on his face. I was mostly a show of acrobatics.

The next ride was the Safari Ride. These are some facts I learnt on the ride. There is a black bird that is black but in Serrano seasons it turns pink. Greater Kudu can jump 7 to 8 feet high. Giraffes have the same amount of vertices as a human. An animal called wild beast fertilizes the ground while he’s walking. The reason flamingos are pink is because they eat a lot of shrimp which has certain chemicals that turns them pink. Cheetahs can go from 0 to 60 speed in three seconds! Lions can spend 18 hours a day sleeping. Ostriches have wings but the reason they can’t fly is because they’re too heavy.

The next day was Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom had all the rides. I you go to Disney and you like rides then you should go to Magic Kingdom. The next day was a relaxing day where we played in our pool played the game pool and played the game foos ball.

Then the last stop was Epcot the kingdom of Coulter. Here different parts of the kingdom where different places like China Japan Germany etc. The first ride we took was Space ship earth which was the most popular ride because it was in the big globe thing that if you look at pictures of Epcot your pricey that big love and think it’s Epcot but it isn’t that’s actually one ride. This ride is really cool because it takes a photo of you and then at the end it brings you to certain places in the future so you can pick what parts of the future you want. And what parts you would want to change. If you go to Epcot there are some shows that you will pass while your walking around I would recommend to stay and watch them because that was one of my favorite parts of Disney World was to watch the shows I would give a five out of five.

A couple weeks ago I went on a weekend trip to Germany to see the Christmas Markets. In the markets one of the foods that are poupluar are these doughnut dough ball things covered in powered sugar. All the stations in the markets look like gingerbread houses. And there were just rows of the gingerbread houses. One night me and my family where walking along the shopping street and we paced a realy cute window that had a bunch of little elf’s that where in a bubble bath that had fake water. And there clothes on the side and on the side a elf was drinking wine. Then later in the night we went to a another market that was the oldest market in Germany. While we where walking around we looked up and music turned on and then Santa appeared in the sky with four of his reindeer right in front of him. Then he started flying towards a huge Christmas tree then he started flying backwards. Sooner then you could guess he stopped and the show was over.

The next day I went to a soccer match and it was FC St. Pauli against MSV Duisburg. In the last few matches FC St. Pauli was losing, but this time they sucked up and unproved a lot and the score was 2-2. But I didn’t mention that just a few days before the match they had gotten a new coach.

Have you ever wondered what Whales/Cardiff  or England is or looks like? Well I have. This trip that I have just taken to England was actually the first time I had ever been to England. This is the story! My dad and me were going to have a trip to England So we went. Me and my dad flew over to England. It was around evening when we arrived. The day after we arrived my mom showed up. My mom flew over from the U.S.A. About five minutes after she showed up at our hotel we went straight over to a WRU rugby practice. A rugby practice is when rugby trainers are practicing for a big game and fans or sponsors can go. At the end I got every players autograph. After practice me and my family went over to a cool looking pub called ZERODEGREES! One of the reasons it was cool in there is because it had huge barrels of beer. The second cool thing was they had a food elevator. A food elevator is a elevator that is small so adults can not fit in. Then the elevator brings food down from an upstairs kitchen.

The next day my family and I went to a real rugby match with thousands of people and sense my mom works for Under Armour we got a special booth. One epic thing was that first we got free tickets, second I got the game ball witch means the ball that they used for that rugby match and it was signed by the two captions of the teams! Third, my mom got to give the trophy to the winning team in front of everyone in the stadium.

After the match we went to the closest castle in town. and just reminding you whales is known for castles. In the castle all the gold is real. The first room I went into there was an only boy/men smoking room. In the mens room I don’t think the wifes of the men knew that they where smoking because in the room there were a bunch of secret doors to places to hid drugs, alcohol and cigarettes! The next room was a nursery and in the nursery there was a painting of a group of kids and the really sad thing about the painting was that one girl in it had one leg shorter than the other which made it very painful for the girl to walk. In the dining room there was a painting the explained a story and the story is that there was a king and it was time for him to give up the throne because he was to old but he did not want his daughter to be the rightful heir to be queen so he made here cousin who was a boy be king. But she did not like, that so the girl forced a war and she won back here spot and became queen. In the top bed room the ceiling was highly decorated because the person who slept in there had a certain belief. In a relax room the rain would go into the room and have visible pipes to make it look pretty. The fountain cost the same amount of money as a whole school.

Later we went to the wall and we went to a cool shop in there called SMIGGLE which had scented school stuff and other toys. SMIGGLE is only in England, so if wanted to get or see the shop than they have a website called smiggle.com! After Smiggle we went back to the hotel and relaxed for about 2 hours. After the rest my family and I headed down to a really interesting restaurant. The reason it was so incredible was because prisoners from a jail would serve and cook the food for us. When we sat down we noticed that there where these poppers that you would pull open and there would be a surprise and two funny facts. What we ordered was Thanksgiving themed. Because it was stuff like turkey, pig in a blanket, etc. As usual we ordered way to much food but it was not all our fault because we got a huge plate of food, which we did not order. The restaurant was called the CLINK restaurant!

Sushi is one of my favorite foods and that is why I have got to share it with you. A sushi place in amsterdam called Umeno is great witch is why it is not just a sushi place it is also the oldest sushi place in Amsterdam and for me the best in the world. This one right above is fried salmon with fried onion on top. Abovev that is my favorite oe it is tuna with avocado and eeg yolk on top. And at the top is my second favorite, 3 different types of fried one is fried salmon and another one is fried tuna.

About every other Saturday I go to a Portuguese cooking class. In cooking class we where cooking blondes, 2 types of paninis and butter nut squash soup. These are some pictures of some stems and some acomplicments I did while I was cooking. The picture you see right above is actually sizzling hot butter. And the butter is just normal butter. Right above that is butter nut squash soup. The yellow chunks in the soup is the squash. Second from the top is one type of panini. And at the top is blondes. If you don’t know what a blonde is than read this. A blonde is a type of brownie just not as much chocolate. But also for this one we used white chocolate.

24  October- Now I am in Odessa, Ukraine. I went to the opera in Odessa at the opera I saw a ballet called Don Quoixote. The ballet was about a girl who loved a boy and the boy loved here but the dad did not approve of there marriage. The dad wanted here to marry a rich man for she did not love him.

25 October- I was in the catacombs and was learning allot about the world war 2. I had a tour of the catacombs. A couple  things I learned is 2,500 years ago water was  where the catacombs are now. The water was so heavy that it formed stones out of seashells and sand and the sand had shells so there where also shells in the stone so you can still see the shells in the stone. So then when people found out that there was stone write under them they  started digging so they could use the stone to make there houses because then the land was flat and had know trees so they had  to pay allot of money to buy wood to make there houses because at the time wood was the best thing to build with. After digging all the stone the catacombs is what was left. At the time every house would have an entrance to the catacombs so if some kid perhaps did not study for there test and did not want to do the test than they might sneak in to the catacombs and wonder of to the beach. But it was not always a good thing to do because it is dark in there so many people get lost in the catacombs and have know food or water so they starve to death.

The king of Kiev forced all his people to become Christian because that was he believed in. Some people did not want to become Christian for they were not Christian they were Muslim. So the king killed them. 

The people who made the church didn’t have a lot of money so instead of having stained glass instead they just painted the walls.

Some times maybe in the summer people go on a zip line to get from one side of a town to the other side of an island. You can not drive to the island only vehicles that are delivering food to a café or something to shop. The way some cars and people get there is a bridge. Some times people just want to go to the island because it is a cheap thing to do.

 

In wintertime it’s very cold so water freezes because of course it’s below zero so people in Kiev would make a hole in the ice on the water to go fishing. 

To cross the road in Kiev instead of just walking across the street they go underground and underground there are shops but they pass the shops and go certain directions of what street they want to cross. 

There is one church that is gold plated and the gold has to be replaced every 30 years. When they replace the gold they take away all 20 kg of gold and then add a new 20 kg of gold that costs $1,000,000! 

In one of the churches that we went to had a thing where you would could pray. Many people who prayed felt it was very important to trade jewelry for their wish/pray to come true.

For lunch one thing I hade is chicken Kiev and just reminding you that I was in Kiev. The chicken was crispy on the outside and on the inside there was normal chicken and then inside of the normal chicken was melted butter. So when you cut it open butter bursts out.

Now I am in Ukraine, Kiev. I am at a restaurant called pervak. The things I ordered are Salmon caviar and caviar is a popular food in Kiev it is wrapped in a sort of savory crape savory crepes are also quite popular here. I am also getting Smoked lard it was good but chewy, plate of a verity off pickles it didn’t say on the menu but there were also other pickled things and two big pickled tomatoes. Salad with duck, pear, blue cheese and cashews nuts, great salad. And Varenyky with mushrooms when I tried it I could not taste the mushrooms but I could taste the goodness. It was definitely delicious!:) The very bottom picture is a pineapple juice.

Surprise there was also pickle and mashed potato in the red beans dish with meatball, sausage and bacon.  Second from the top is a type of pate with drizzled balsamic with some other pickled things. Third from to is a dessert with black pudding and glazed apple with apple sauce. bellow is a dessert with famous Dutch apple pie with whipped cream and fruit and cinnamon and a sort of cream.
